1st Sem. Hons  CT2 – Early Historic India (Proto history to 6th Century B. C.) Students will be familiar with the history of the time of which there is no written records
2nd Sem. Hons  CT3 – Mauryan and Gupta Empire How empires were built out of small states in Ancient India
2nd Sem. Hons  CT4 – Political History of Early Medieval India Students will learn how the nature of socio-politico-economic system gradually changed from ancient to medieval characteristics 
3rd Sem. Hons  CT5 – Delhi Sultanate Students will learn how foreign invaders settled in India and imposed an alien culture on the administrative super-structure and made inroads in the society faith and economics in India
3rd Sem. Hons  CT6 – The Feudal Society Students will learn how the whole system of society, culture, economics and administrative were oriented into a single system of lord-vassalage relationship
3rd Sem. Hons  CT7 – Akbar and the Making of Mughal India Students will learn how a culture alien to the Indian traditions was established throughout the length and breadth of India during the Mughal rule

5th Sem. Hons  CT12 -Peasant and Tribal uprising in Colonial India in19th Century Students will know why and how peasants and tribes challenged the colonial rulers in their own ways
5th Sem. Hons  DSE 1 – Modern Transformation of China (1893-1949) Students will learn why and how feudalism in China was transformed into modernity due to western pressure
5th Sem. Hons  DSE 2 – Modern Transformation of Japan Students will learn why and how feudalism in Japan was transformed into modernity due to western pressure
6th Sem. Hons  CT13 – International Relations after the Second World War How the foreign policy  of India was shaped after the Second World War
6th Sem. Hons   CT14 – Modern Nationalism in India Students will learn how isolated Indians were integrated into a single nationhood in the face of the British Paramountcy

6th Sem. Hons   DSE 4 – Pre-Colonial South East Asia Students will know the socio-politico-economic condition of South-East Asia before Western powers established their rule there 
1st Sem, Pass for Hons GE 1 – Theories of the Modern State Students will learn different theories regarding the relation between the rulers and the ruled and how the system state administration reached its modern form 
2nd Sem, Pass for Hons GE 2 – Science and Empire Students will know how scientific knowledge and institutions had developed in colonial India
3rd Sem, Pass for Hons GE 3 – Some Perspectives on Women Rights in India Students will know about why and how the issue of protection of rights of the women were pursued and enacted
4th Sem, Pass for Hons GE 4 – Gender and Education in India Students will also know why and how system of women education developed in India
1ST Sem Pass for Pass DSC 1A – Ancient India Students should know how was the political, social, religious and cultural scenario in Ancient India. Because the institutions and practices that developed in Ancient India are the treasured heritage of India  
2nd Sem Pass for Pass DSC 1B – Medieval India Students will learn how foreign invaders settled in India and imposed an alien culture on the administrative super-structure and made inroads in the society faith and economics in India.

Students will learn how the whole system of society, culture, economics and administrative were oriented into a single system of lord-vassalage relationship.

3rd Sem Pass for Pass DSC -1C – Colonial Impact on Indian Economy and Society Students will know how the economy and society were influenced by the administration of the colonial rulers. How their actions affected or improved the economy and society.

6th  Sem Pass for Pass SEC 4 – An Introduction to Indian Art Students will be aware of the rich Indian tradition of Art and Architecture that had been constructed and what were influences that helped such arts to develop and also that what those arts convey to us about the past belief and practices
