    Filmature: Film festival is organized in the department. Film and literature are artistic expression of human mind. Man thinks of different ways of communicating human experiences to broaden the enlightenment scenario. Obviously, there is an interesting connection between filming and writing.
    The Department of English celebrated a film festival ‘ Filmature” to commemorate the 406th Death anniversary of William Shakespeare. This endeavour creates ideas among students  about the broadening canvas of literature and make them aware to the scope of newly established field of study “ Film and Literature”. The festival is held at Auditorium Hall from 5th May to 7th May. In this Festival  famous  films such as Mackbeth, Alice in Wonderland , The Guide are screened. All the students and teachers of English department participate in this festival.
